Meanwood Valley is blessed with an ever growing group of children and young people - some who come along with their families and others who bring themselves because they've discovered that MVBC is a really good place to be. The whole church is committed to keeping all of our children and young people safe - we all accept that it's everyone's responsibility to look out for our children. This is demonstrated by our comprehensive child protection and safeguarding policies and procedures, along with the careful selection of all the volunteers who work with the children.
We also provide thoughtful support and training for our volunteers, because we know that they're very precious too!
We run activities and groups from 0’s to 18’s, if you wish to find out more, or interested in joining a group please contact any of the leadership team for more information.
On Sunday’s we provide a crèche for 0 to 3 year olds, KidsZone group for 4 to 10 year olds and Thirst group for 11 to 14 year olds. During the week we currently run groups for 8 to 10 year olds and 14 to 18 year olds as well.

Our vision is to reach out to the young people of Meanwood and build strong bridges with their families through the running of various youth and young people groups and see many young people come to faith and living life to the full (John 3v16).
Our four goals are to:
1) Teach the gospel message boldly, simply and in a relevant and meaningful way.
2) Overflow and reflect God's love for the young people and children and thus be a beacon of light.
3) Disciple and nurture the young people through the word, worship and prayer so that they will become the Men and Women of God he has called them to be.
4) Integrate the young people into the church by releasing and empowering them in their gifts to serve the church and reflect the Father's love in the community of Meanwood and the city of Leeds.
