Moortown Baptist Church was home for many of us before we began meeting at Meanwood. Even after we have become an independent church, our ties with Moortown continue to be strong and it's good to keep in touch with what they're doing.
Stainbeck Church is one of our close neighbours in Meanwood. The congregation is part of the United Reformed Church and has grown out of a different historical setting but we work together with them at a practical level in various ways.
Chapel Allerton Baptist Church developed (like us) from the Sharing Life Network and we continue to keep in touch with them and welcome their pastor, Ashley Hardingham, to preach from time to time.
This is an independent site that exists to serve the Christian community in Leeds and to help churches express their unity in Christ. It has a forum section and special interest areas for topics such as Arts & The Media, Prayer, Family Life and Youth.
Leeds University Christian Union provides a useful site for any student at the University of Leeds and gives a run-down of CU activities with links to various other groups and events that are going on.
This is particularly for all international students studying at one of the universities in Leeds.
LeedsNet is a regional information service for the city of Leeds. It's a growing site run by some enterprising guys not far from Meanwood and they provide a lot of useful information about all sorts of things that are going on in Leeds. Check 'em out.
